Max Kane is a Taiwanese American and Jewish filmmaker from West Chester, Pennsylvania. His love of storytelling began at his grandparents’ single-screen Art Deco movie theater.

A former Division I tennis player and 35mm projectionist, Max spent seven years at Anonymous Content across Business & Legal Affairs and Physical Production. He now develops, directs, and produces branded content with Cloud Forest.

Max is drawn to forming connections in unlikely places and finding the universal in deeply personal stories. His films blend psychological drama, horror, and comedy and have screened at festivals including the Philadelphia Film Festival, Chattanooga Film Festival, and HollyShorts. His work has also been featured by Directors Notes and Shots.
